It’s been a wild ride since we launched 3 Worlds / 3 Moons in August 2021. You, the 3W/3M community, have been with us every step of the way, watching, supporting, and helping to guide everything we’re doing. And we made a promise to keep pushing ourselves, with our content, our ambitions, and the rewards that you get as subscribers.
We set a high bar for ourselves because it’s not only what you expect, it’s what you deserve. And ever since we announced all of our Year 2 rewards this summer, we know you’ve been waiting to get your hands on everything.
Today is the day we move that closer to reality, especially for our paid subscribers. If that isn’t you, you should:
3 Worlds / 3 Moons is a reader-supported initiative. If you like what we’re doing and want to get access to great comics, events, exclusive merch and discounts from EMPORIA, and want more from us, please:
To get even more, you can also:
All right, lots of updates and details coming your way. Let’s get into it.
[MAPS] Graphic Novel Sourcebook
You already know that the [MAPS] Graphic Novel Sourcebook serves as a comprehensive atlas of this universe, and like [SYSTEMS] before it, it’ll be released in print as a stunning 200-page volume.
With all 12 stories from [MAPS] now released (and available to read right now in The Index), we’re in the process of putting the final touches on the book itself. It’s important that we ensure it lives up to the standard set by [SYSTEMS] and everything else we’ve done so far.
Since we’re nearly at the finish line with [MAPS], that means we can also take a big step in other areas.
Year 2 Subscriber Rewards
THE CIRCLE members and Annual subscribers who qualify should be receiving invoices from Shopify via email in January. You’ll be asked to confirm (or update) your mailing address, which will let you know the final shipping cost to receive your Year 2 rewards.
Once you receive, please fill that info out ASAP so we can avoid potential delays with your shipment.
As a reminder, Members of THE CIRCLE will receive:
A limited edition Deluxe Hardcover edition of the [MAPS] Graphic Novel Sourcebook along with a corresponding signed and numbered book plate.
THE VALLARS Preview Edition
ACADEMY Sunday Edition
THE COMPASS
THE CARD
DELUXE PRINT COLLECTION from Mike del Mundo & Mike Huddleston, featuring six prints (three each), signed by the artist.
Annual subscribers will receive:
A deluxe softcover edition of the [MAPS] Graphic Novel Sourcebook (unsigned)
Two 11” x 17” prints, one each from Mike del Mundo and Mike Huddleston (unsigned)
Logistics & Timing
We’re currently expecting from Year 2 to ship in late January/early February. As we learned when fulfilling Year 1 rewards, unexpected obstacles outside of our control can and will come up, so we’ll update you with any changes if anything changes.
The best thing you can do is keep an eye on your inboxes, confirm all of your shipping info when you receive the invoice, and you’ll be good to go.
Because of the timeline, we’re extending subscriptions for THE CIRCLE and Annual subscribers over this stretch, same as last year. We won’t charge you or ask you to renew before your rewards are shipped, so you’ll be getting extra time free of charge.
What’s Next
While we can’t get you your physical rewards any sooner, we do have some great stuff headed your way over the next few months, which we’ll be telling you more about soon. In the meantime, we’ve got some awesome [MAPS] features to share over the holidays week, after which we’ll begin serializing the full digital chapters of the book weekly.
We remain committed to making things way, way bigger in the weeks, months, and years ahead. Stay tuned for all of this and more, and we sincerely thank you for all the love and support.
Because there was no [DISPATCH] last week, let’s take a look at the last couple weeks that were:
[WATCH] We shared an awesome recap video from last month’s 3W/3M Creative Summit, which also includes scenes from the NYCC Meet-Up Event for members of THE CIRCLE.
[COMICS] The final story from [MAPS] is now available for all paid subscribers. SEED is drawn, colored, and lettered by our own Jonathan Hickman, marking his first sequential art in years!
[PROCESS] Jonathan delivered the behind-the-scenes goods on his story. You don’t want to miss this!
[THE COMPETITION] We previously shared all three scripts from the winners of our first ever open scriptwriting tryout, and last week Editrix Maxima Molly Mahan broke down the team’s feedback on each of them:
There’s plenty more headed your way soon – stay tuned!
I can’t wait to get my hands on that compass...
Forgive my ignorance, but i've been a subscriber for over a year and have yet to receive anything? Is that to be expected? I've been happy to support my favorite creators, however, I really don't like being on a screen for too long so i have not engaged much at all with this application. Is there a more direct way to contact someone regarding these types of questions? Thank you all for your efforts!
