Some very cool stuff is across our desks at the moment as we continue pushing hard on the final elements of [MAPS]. We’re thrilled to share more with you soon, but we didn’t want you to think we lost sight of another very cool part of this journey.
[THE COMPETITION] is our first ever open scriptwriting tryout, held exclusively for paid 3W/3M paid subscribers. We got hundreds of entries, which was both exciting and way more than we expected. Then our work began.
We whittled down those hundreds of pitches to eleven for Round 2. Round 2 saw those who advanced crafting one-page outlines for us to see if there was both a vision and a through line. You all remained impressive, but we chose seven winners to advance. Round 3 put each winner to the test, asking them to write a 3-5 page script excerpt from their stories.
We planned to pick one winner, who would receive $3000, get their story drawn (artist to be named), and be published by 3W/3M.
Today, we’re thrilled to present the initial drafts of each of their scripts for you to read.

Such hard work clearly shown on every page by all the writers. Color me impressed!
Merger - The story moves at a great pace and man do I love the relationship between Gadshill and Trude. Beautifully done.
Stars Like Watchful Eyes - Like a piece of gourmet cake at a 5-star restaurant, rich and delicious. Also, I would like statues of Hri and White Wendre for my shelf, please and thank you.
To Love and Die on Heir - Kylie's emotional journey is so good. I could feel her heart being pulled every which way. Classic conflict so perfectly realized.
I look forward to the whole team working together to bring these to final fruition and will be enjoying a nice drink and snack while I devour these stories with my eyeballs again and again. Well done, All!
