Okay, this was super hard to cut down. Most of them were good enough to move on. One made it because it lined up with directions we’re going in the near future and a one didn’t for the opposite reason.
We did end up picking seven because the last three (not in the order listed, by the way) all had the same number of points regarding how we graded them, and instead of picking one, we decided to let all three in.
Is that because we hate making hard decisions or because we’re super nice people? Who knows? Let’s wait and see how the next round of judging goes.
If you’re interested in participating in future 3W/3M community events like [THE COMPETITION], Live Draws, and more, those are limited to paid subscribers. Luckily, we’re in the final days of our 30-DAY FREE TRIAL OFFER for annual subscriptions.
Here are the seven scripts that will be moving on:

by Ramsey EssSTARS, LIKE WATCHFUL EYES
by Y. LuTHE RISE & FALL OF THE MOTO MAJESTIC

You have a month to turn your scripts in. Let’s say by Friday, June 2nd. Please pick your favorite scene and do 3-5 pages (I leave this entirely up to you, but do stay in that range.).
And even though I feel strongly about what is, and is not, proper formatting for a comic script, that’s not a sentiment shared industry-wide so we won’t have any restrictions there. Just pick your favorite format and get to it.
Editorial will be in touch regarding how you want to receive your prize money for this round (along with dates and submission instructions), but thanks for all the hard work and congrats to those of you who are moving on.
Again, congratulations to all the winners, and thank you to all the participants. We’re loving the enthusiasm, the ideas, and the pure imagination from our community!
Aw nuts! Well, thanks for the opportunity it's been fun. I've got other self-published comics work through the link in my profile if anyone's interested. -Randall "I fucking love Libraries" Avilez
Congratulations to those chosen. To those who didn't, for what it's worth, I was super impressed and hope we hear from you again!
