Aw nuts! Well, thanks for the opportunity it's been fun. I've got other self-published comics work through the link in my profile if anyone's interested. -Randall "I fucking love Libraries" Avilez
I guess here in the comments, the equivalent of being speechless is taking 24 hours to post. What thrilling news, and what a relief that I wasn’t the one who had to make these calls! Huge respect to all – I’m glad your stories, in this brave new Substack world, have in fact already been published! 🫡
Hi Kyle! Thanks so much for the kind words. For this story I dug around a lot in the [SYSTEMS] book and taking inspiration from that. I'm also a big Destiny fan so I love that mix of Sci-Fi and Fantasy. Didn't get to move ahead but all good on that front. The whole experience has been motivating and exciting, and already have a ton of new ideas to work on my own with as a result. Couldn't be prouder of what I've learned and all the incredible work everyone has done.
Congratulations to everyone. The Competition is a great instructive process, and it continues to showcase the rich creative talent of this community. Thanks again to the 3W3M team for providing this opportunity.
I've unintentionally taken a beat to reply because I continue to be awestruck by the level of talent on display and am incredibly thankful for the opportunity to learn from you all. I've now read everyone's outlines and notes several times through and keep finding new things to admire. I guess in short: thanksgratulations!

Congratulations to those chosen. To those who didn't, for what it's worth, I was super impressed and hope we hear from you again!
Congratulations to everyone! Hoping this happens again in the future, as it is incredibly exciting (even from the sideline)!
Wow! I’m completely overwhelmed. Thank you very much and congratulations to everyone going forward. When next I submit there will be a title!
Super generous of the 3W3M team to expand the list of Round 2 winners, considering the extra cost involved.
Thank you for this chance, and congratulations to the other finalists.

Incredible job everyone! Congrats to the winners and I can't wait to read those scripts!
Jeff, your pitch was one of my favorites, great work! Do you have any favorite books/comics/games that may have inspired your story or writing?
