Now let’s take a look at a new illustration from [MAPS] by our own Mike del Mundo. Feast your eyes on The Bela Kanto.
Since the quarantining of Kaoso, Heir has become the unquestioned home of the arts, with exiled royals serving as generous patrons. Theaters, concert venues, and art galleries are plenty, but the beating heart of the district is the Bela Kanto, which sits at the opposing end of the Koridoro to The House. This majestic performance hall is host to the Days of Reunion – when the Fayrii Royals and Exiles of Heir come together to celebrate the alignment of planet and moon. To perform during these festivities is considered the great honor a citizen of Heir can know. The Travanto Donaco, indebted peoples who act as scouts, scour the lesser venues and even the steps of the Hall for talent worthy of the grand stage (and in doing so earn release from their debts).
This image will be included in the forthcoming [MAPS] Graphic Novel Sourcebook, along with 12 amazing comics and loads of world-building.
