With that, let’s take a look at our first [MAPS] Map. Behold the THERRA LABYRINTH, illustrated by IC4 Design.
THERRA’s labyrinths were built to hide and protect the most important discoveries of the early Institute. Equivalent to the size of a small country, some have dedicated their lives to reaching the center. So many people have attempted this that cities, businesses, and other resources were built within their walls, the economy centered on researchers and explorers traveling through.
Fewer and fewer of these explorers make it deeper and deeper, but if they did they would find that the cities get smaller, becoming towns, then villages, then settlements, then campsites. By the time anyone makes it more than three-quarters in, there’s practically nothing resembling an active community.
Throughout the labyrinths are great monuments that serves as puzzles and traps to be solved by explorers should they wish to continue their journey deeper in. These can take generations to solve – some puzzles are iterative, and some unique.
At the lonely center sits a great citadel that hides the Institute’s research, a sight very few explorers will ever see.
This is one of several maps contained within the pages of the forthcoming [MAPS] Graphic Novel Sourcebook, along with 12 amazing comics and loads of world-building.

Amazing! I was zoomed in looking at details and didn't realize how far I'd gone until I zoomed out again, haha. Love it!
