[DISPATCH] EMPORIA Now Open for Everyone / COMPETITION Round 2
Step into EMPORIA – our new web store is now open to the world! Plus updates on [THE COMPETITION].
Welcome back to a brand new installment of the [DISPATCH], a weekly direct report from us to you, with news, recaps, exclusive content and more.
One of the biggest weeks in 3 Worlds / 3 Moons history went down last week with the opening of EMPORIA. Our new web store featuring physical comics, books, prints, collectibles, merch, and more opened first for our premium membership tier, THE CIRCLE, followed by paid subscribers last week.
And as of today, it’s open for everyone who wants to get in on the 3W/3M action.
We’ve been blown away by the response to the opening. A reminder that the only way to get early access to new drops and exclusive items is to become a paid subscriber today. We’re running a 30-DAY FREE TRIAL OFFER on all annual subscriptions for one more week! You can save money and get access to more items today.
If you’re not already a member of THE CIRCLE, you can Upgrade Now for instant access to exclusive items including prints and the deluxe, hardcover edition of the [SYSTEMS] Graphic Novel Sourcebook, which will pair nicely with the upcoming [MAPS] in the same format.
With that out of the way, how about we get you into the store?
HOW TO ACCESS EMPORIA
To enter the store, visit shop3w3m.com.
Free subscribers and the general public can see everything currently for sale, but any paid subscriber-exclusive or CIRCLE-exclusive items will be unavailable to purchase.
Members of THE CIRCLE can find out how to access the PREMIERA GUTO items here, and paid subscribers can learn how to access their exclusives (including the softcover [SYSTEMS] Graphic Novel Sourcebook) right here.
WHAT IF I HAVE QUESTIONS?
The launch of any new venture is bound to result in a few things not going to plan. We’ve done our best to zap all the bugs and keep things running exactly a desired, but just in case, EMPORIA has a built in chat function for you to ask questions directly from the site, and you can also email firstname.lastname@example.org if you can’t find the answers you’re looking for.
Please note, this email is exclusively for EMPORIA-related questions. Any questions about subscriptions should be directed to email@example.com.
WHEN WILL I GET MY ITEMS?
As mentioned last week, we want to offer a smooth experience for everyone. We’re still taking preorders to make sure nothing goes wrong, and we’ll start shipping all orders later these week. It’s a small delay designed to ensure that nothing goes wrong with your browsing and ordering experience, and we’ll pick up the pace with future orders.
This is just the beginning of what we have planned for EMPORIA. We’re confident that there’s plenty you’ll love, but we have much more coming your way. And if you were waiting for something we haven’t released (and maybe haven’t thought of), let us know in the comments and maybe we’ll be able to make it happen in the future.
This week we’ll return to [THE COMPETITION], our open scriptwriting tryout exclusively for our 3W/3M paid subscribers. In March, after receiving hundreds of entries, we whittled those down to eleven first round winners.
Each writer was given a month to take their pitch and expand it into a one-page outline. Now, we’re back for Round 2. Here’s how it will work:
Tomorrow (Tuesday), we’ll post all 11 of those completed outlines for you to check out.
On Wednesday, Jonathan will be back with commentary on each one.
On Friday, we’ll announce the winners of this round.
It’s gonna be a fun week!
[COMICS] Despite the biggest news of the week being the grand opening of EMPORIA, that doesn’t mean the comics stop. Nothing could stop the unbeatable art team of Jason Howard and Frank Martin dropping another sumptuous episode of THE VALLARS. If you’re just joining us, THE VALLARS is our first ongoing series, and it’s free to read, for everyone. New episodes are released every Thursday, so be sure to keep an eye out. In fact, here’s a tease:
[SERIAL] Every Sunday we deliver new episodes of our weekly serial, ACADEMY, written and colored by the living legend, Steve Epting. Steve was in his bag this week, as usual, showing off the latest exploits of Tajo and Syg.
[WORLDS WORTH READING] Mike Huddleston and Mike del Mundo had a fantastic chat with BRIGADA creator Enrique Fernández. It’s a great read if you love to hear world-class artists talking art and storytelling, and we also share plenty of Enrique’s singular visuals. We’ll be hearing from him yet again when he answers questions from you, the 3W/3M community.
This week is going to be another exciting one, with plenty of brand new content for you. Did someone ask for an update on [THE COMPETITION]…?
