As mentioned last week, we want to offer a smooth experience for everyone. We’re still taking preorders to make sure nothing goes wrong, and we’ll start shipping all orders later these week. It’s a small delay designed to ensure that nothing goes wrong with your browsing and ordering experience, and we’ll pick up the pace with future orders.

This week we’ll return to [THE COMPETITION], our open scriptwriting tryout exclusively for our 3W/3M paid subscribers. In March, after receiving hundreds of entries, we whittled those down to eleven first round winners.

Each writer was given a month to take their pitch and expand it into a one-page outline. Now, we’re back for Round 2. Here’s how it will work:

Tomorrow (Tuesday), we’ll post all 11 of those completed outlines for you to check out.

On Wednesday, Jonathan will be back with commentary on each one.

On Friday, we’ll announce the winners of this round.

• [WORLDS WORTH READING] Mike Huddleston and Mike del Mundo had a fantastic chat with BRIGADA creator Enrique Fernández. It’s a great read if you love to hear world-class artists talking art and storytelling, and we also share plenty of Enrique’s singular visuals. We’ll be hearing from him yet again when he answers questions from you, the 3W/3M community.
