[DISPATCH] EMPORIA Launch Week Begins!
With our brand new web store set to open this week, take a look at some of the items you can get your hands on.
Welcome back to the [DISPATCH], a weekly direct report from us to you, with news, recaps, exclusive content and more.
This week is going to be tremendously exciting for us (and you), as our new web store, EMPORIA, opens this Wednesday, April 26. We’re going to dive into what that means in more detail below, including early access for paid subscribers.
But before that, a reminder that we’re still running a special promotion through May 8- a 30-DAY FREE TRIAL OFFER on all annual subscriptions! If you want to get access to EMPORIA as quickly as possible, this is a great way to do exactly that.
If you’re just joining us for the first time, EMPORIA is our new digital storefront where you’ll be able to find books, prints, collectibles, merch, and much more. We’d like to share a few more details about the launch today- and we’ll have a lot more for you tomorrow (more details on the below).
As we’ve told you before, EMPORIA will first open for members of The Circle, our premium membership tier, who will receive the PREMIERA GUTO- an exclusive early drop of EMPORIA offerings.
To make sure you get first chance at everything before it sells out, subscribe or upgrade to THE CIRCLE right now:
One thing we want to call out is that we’ll be taking preorders for the first few days. We want to get everything in your hands as soon as possible, but to make sure nothing goes awry, we’ll be building in a little extra time up front to ensure that everything goes smoothly. The next question you’re probably wondering is what will be available at launch…
Tomorrow we’ll be sending out 3 posts - each 3 hours apart - revealing a slew of never before seen items we’ll have available in the store. So keep checking the Substack app / your inbox for those, should be a very exciting day!
For now, here’s a look at what we’ve already revealed:
[FOUNDATIONS] PRESTIGE LENTICULAR EDITION
The Prestige Lenticular of [FOUNDATIONS], the first-ever 3W/3M Comic, is the ultimate collector’s edition, featuring gorgeous artwork from both Mike del Mundo and Mike Huddleston, and limited to 1,000 copies. This is not to be missed!
[SYSTEMS] GRAPHIC NOVEL SOURCEBOOK
[SYSTEMS], our first Graphic Novel Sourcebook, will also be available for purchase. A limited number of [SYSTEMS] softcover editions will be available for purchase – exclusively for our paid subscribers (limit 1 copy per subscriber).
Additionally, we’ll have an even more limited number of the Deluxe Hardcover edition, but only for members of The Circle. If you missed it the first time around, it’s the perfect companion to our upcoming second Graphic Novel Sourcebook, [MAPS]. All Annual paid subscribers and Circle members will receive [MAPS] as a Year 2 reward in the coming months. (Note: existing Circle members who previously received the hardcover as a reward can still purchase a softcover edition).
Beyond that, here’s a full schedule for the EMPORIA rollout:
Wednesday, April 26, 5pm ET / 2pm PT - Members of THE CIRCLE will have an exclusive window to enter the store and preorder items via the PREMIERA GUTO.
Saturday, April 29 - All paid subscribers will be able to enter the store and preorder items from the remaining inventory.
Monday, May 1 - EMPORIA will be open for everyone.
We’ll see you tomorrow (three times!) with those announcements. But before that, a look back at the week that was…
[COMICS] We released another new episode of THE VALLARS, our first ongoing series drawn by Jason Howard and colored by Frank Martin. THE VALLARS is free to read, for everyone, so there’s no reason not to tune in weekly. We’ll be back at it again this week with another new episode this Thursday.
[PROCESS] Jason Howard, the acclaimed artist on THE VALLARS delivered a fantastic [PROCESS] piece about his work on the series with tons of behind-the-scenes imagery and a great look at his thought process.
[LIVE DRAW] Because we cant get enough of him, Jason joined 3W/3M’s own Mike del Mundo, Jonathan Hickman, and Mike Huddleston for our latest Live Draw. If you couldn’t make it, you can watch a recording of it right now.
[SERIAL] As he does every Sunday, the inimitable Steve Epting delivered another jaw-dropping episode of ACADEMY. Tajo and Syg’s journey continues this Sunday, as always.
[WORLDS WORTH READING] Over on Chat, we started a thread to talk about this month’s selection, BRIGADA by Enrique Fernández. We encourage you to read up and chime in, and we’ll have more for you on that front soon.
I feel like this is a silly question, but the hardcover is included with the Circle membership, right? How do I go about taking advantage of that? Or am I mistaken?
