For a future book club pick, I'll suggest Max Gladstone's Three Parts Dead (the first book in his Craft Sequence, though it works as a standalone), if we're in the mood for interesting *unconventional* fantasy world-building. It's one of the few series that can give me the same sense of wonder I felt as a kid, when I was new to the genre and didn't know what tropes were, its imagination is so vast.
Really excited about this choice! Arkady Martine's 'A Memory Called Empire' and Ann Leckie's 'Ancillary Justice' are two other influential, recent prose books that might fit the group.
I had just started ‘Ancillary Justice’ when the third Tchaikovsky book came out and battering rammed all other prose out of the way. I’m looking forward to picking it back up.
I fell off ‘Memory Called Empire’ last year - I think I wanted more world! It’s so fascinating. Another one to get back to.
This looks amazing. I just purchased all three volumes from Enrique- looking forward to diving in. As for the next prose selection, I'll nominate Dan Simmon's classic "Hyperion".
This is cool and all but has there been any updates on when we’ll start getting regular 3W3M content like the Vallars book?

Just read up a bit more and this sounds killer. Adding it to the list!

Either would be a solid pick, I think!
Looks great! Thanks for the pick! And for next month I once again nominate..... Anything written by N. K. Jemisin!
I had my money on Secret Wars II but upon reflection this seems like a better pick.

Stephen King’s Dark Tower or Gaiman’s American Gods would be interesting choices.
