I think the problem is that we've seen this story in the original panel form, so yes, compared to a double spread it looks poor. ButI would like to see a vertical storyline and from the technical side, or whatever you want to call it, it's really well done. Thumbs up
I really enjoy the vertical layout. Marvel Unlimited has been doing this and it’s a great format for phones and tablets. Looking forward to reading content that was designed to be vertical.
Still not sold. I would feel bad for anyone who only reads this vertically and misses a bunch of that spread in the middle. Great news about the weekly though!
Curious about your partnership with Rocketship. It seems at this point it's only about converting comics to vertical format, which technically is something you can do yourselves. What does the partnership really entail beyond taking what you already have and rearranging the panels vertically?
I’m really enjoying the vertical layout. It feels like the ideal way to read issues on phone/tablet before they become available in print (which remains my preference).
I love that we will be able to enjoy these stories either way! And I love that I get to see Steve Epting’s work in this universe so soon; I’ve been champing at the bit!
