[3W/3M/Y2] RUINS - Vertical Edition
And an ACADEMY update.
A few weeks back, we shared with you our first vertical conversion test for FABLE, done in partnership with the team at Rocketship. Today, we’re back with another, this time presenting RUINS.
Our current plan is to start offering these vertical editions with nearly every new release, while also still making the stories available in full-page format via Panels and PDF.
Please note: to best enjoy these vertical editions on mobile devices, we strongly recommend downloading the Substack app, which is now available for both iOS and Android.
In our testing, every once in a while we’d come across a formatting error in email versions, which is beyond our control- so get the app and make sure you get the best possible experience.

I think the problem is that we've seen this story in the original panel form, so yes, compared to a double spread it looks poor. ButI would like to see a vertical storyline and from the technical side, or whatever you want to call it, it's really well done. Thumbs up
I really enjoy the vertical layout. Marvel Unlimited has been doing this and it’s a great format for phones and tablets. Looking forward to reading content that was designed to be vertical.
