Below is a picture (as is, I swear) of one of my shelves which has a number of awesome HCs by a wide variety of writers, along with the newest addition upfront. Relatedly, I didn't know bright orange was allowed on Marvel covers, but it looks amazing! Not pictured: the empty space being saved for the Decorum HC coming out this week.
Question designed to appeal to your vanities (if you have any): Some comics editors take that experience and move into various other arenas of comic creation. Others, like yourself, seem to simply love editing. What traits make someone a good editor (as opposed to other jobs in comics), and have you ever considered trying your hand at writing, drawing, lettering, coloring, etc.?
“what you hold in your hands is an idea made real” first of all, i love y’all. second of all, my favorite volume is probably my copy of the absolute sandman overture. a black tome version filled with beautiful j.h. williams III art
Any Archaia hardcovers are pretty amazing. Cursed Pirate Girl is a beautiful book. But the most beautiful are the Locke & Key leather versions, and especially the Locke & Key Head Games IDW Limited Editions with the massive box, the Rodriguez prints, all the extras, and of course, a key.
My best looking book by far is the Urban Comics edition of Curse of the White Knight. It’s an absolute masterpiece of printing and the art is simply incredible. Took a lot to get one imported but so happy I was able to get one.
I’m currently reading The Last God, it’s a lovely collection with all sorts of cool touches like sheet music and DND style stat blocks in the back. I quite like my Strangers in Paradise Omnibus collection, and the current reprints of the Sword of Conan in omnibus form are old school comics awesome.
Feel like a brown nose for listing this here but I did just pick up volume 1 and 2 of the Hickman FF omnibus. Next on my list is Justice Leage Dark/Snyder's Batman/and that New Gods looks pretty awesome. Anybody else think it's weird Maximum Carnage doesn't have a hardcover?
I picked up the Weapon X Gallery Edition book the other week, and I love it. The Barry Windsor Smith Marvel Presents stuff, all in the treasury size... had not pre-ordered the book, but then as my shop owner said when he saw I'd ended up buying a copy, "Couldn't help yourself, huh?" No, I could not! I also love my Silver Surfer Black treasury edition. That Tradd Moore art... The Bill Sienkiewicz Revolution art book... spectacular. Also just recently got the Declan Shalvey Marvel monograph book with his Moon Knight art among lots of other fantastic work. And uh, how about that Tom Huddleston Art of Decorum book... Hm. Much as there is also incredible art over on the DC side, I feel like I am at a lack of beautiful books collecting it... might have to consider doing something about that, too!

Mr Wacker, sir, will 3w/3m ever be open for amateur comic creators to contribute to the universe? Like even a zine or something?
Ok, maybe this is a weird question, but what record player and what is your favorite vinyl you've played so far?
Sin City Curators Collection
Absolute Preachers
Absolute Sandman
Deadman by Kelly Jones Gallery Edition
Ronin Gallery Edition
Goon Fancy Pants Edition
***Mork Borg Rulebook***
All good looking books.

I want that Taschen Spidey book so bad but man it's pricey.
Some of my fave volumes I own are O Human Star by Blue Delliquanti. I have all three (but admittedly need to read the third) in paperback volumes.
It's a story published for free on the books website but I wanted hard copies.
A phenomenal story about love, robots, resurrection, and gender identity. And the production is top notch.
