Welcome LANGDON FOSS, VALENTINE DE LANDRO and KRISTIAN DONALDSON
Meet the Artists for our upcoming [SYSTEMS] stories
It’s been a fun week.
We heard from our new Editor-In-Chief Stephen Wacker. We saw more of the otherworldly talents of Sasha E. Head and we’ve continued to receive work from some amazing creators who have joined us on this world-building journey.
And on that note, we thought it’d be a good idea to meet more of the talented hands and minds who are bringing 3W/3M to life. We’ve done these announcement posts before, but this time, we’ve got not one, not two, but three amazing new artists to announce. And we get to show you some of their early contributions to the stories they are working on.
Let’s take a look. But first, a reminder:

First up is Langdon Foss whose incredible work you know from The Surface, Get Jiro, and Vote Loki. He’s lending his talents to our first [SYSTEMS] Religion story and is filling each millimeter with amazing, otherworldly design.
Next up… Valentine De Landro is a longtime presence in the Toronto comics scene and was a member of Bright Anvil Studios with our own Mike del Mundo. His resume is long and filled to the brim with breathtaking work on books like Bitch Planet, Morbius, The Old Guard and White.
NOTE: For all of you aspiring comic creators out there, take special note of how smartly Val designs the page around the word balloons, guaranteeing clarity and flow and making sure they cover no pertinent information. Balloon placement is one of those invisible arts in comics and worth paying attention to when done right.
And finally… we bring you Texas’ own Kristian Donaldson. Huddleston first encountered Kristian’s groundbreaking work on a book called SUPERMARKET from IDW. From Mike H.: “His cartooning was awesome, but his color was so ahead of its time, I still look at that book today…like 15 years later… and am amazed.“
Before you all go out and hunt down SUPERMARKET, here’s a look at Kristian’s layouts…
As you can see from his Instagram, Kristian also makes 3D models of just about everything, so we are very excited to see his story come together.
There you have it. 3 new artists. 3 new visions. With much more to come.
See you next week.
Welcome aboard! Can't wait to see what comes next!
Very excited about all of these guys!
