These are great. And this is the greatest writing class I've ever been a part of. By submitting what I thought were really solid pitches and then seeing what was chosen I understand more about how to do it better than if someone sat down and tried to teach it to me. Thank you everyone and I can't wait to read these outlines.
When I found out my pitch didn't make the cut my friend asked if I was upset, I said lets wait and see what the winning pitches look like. I am not upset.
Wow guys, these are top notch! I need to up my game next time to compete, such a great job!
I want to specifically shout out Ramsey Ess for their pitch. We picked very similar topics but you took yours in a way more creatively engaging direction in my opinion. I'll be rooting for you to go all the way!
Um, holy shit. I’d read all of these, I think. Blown away by how in-universe these feel. 3W3M has not been around for very long, and yet the sandbox already feels so deep and versatile. Wonderful stuff!
Interesting choices! They're all so different yet all feel like a part of the world you've created. I'm most intrigued by the Librarians and the Weavers. They both feel like they could be five-issue minis with bigger implications for the universe.
Well to be honest, I was pretty miffed about not being chosen (how could anyone match my creative genius?!) But after reading the winning pitches...I feel better about it. I think I'd rather read all 11 of these than my idea. Well done all. I look forward to watching my faves and hoping they win!

I'd be interested in seeing the top 40 with notes, but I understand that's infinitely more work, these are all going to be fun reads!
I’d even be interested in seeing the top 40 WITHOUT notes just to see how close we may have been and to be able to read other ideas
Well, I'll be floating two feet above the ground for the rest of the day.
(Though still cringing at how I missed the redundancy of "hold the record for the longest-running duel on record." Eesh.)
(And, wow, those other entries. That's some stiff competition, is what it is.)

These are awesome but that escape artist pitch sounds hilarious
There's some really interesting ideas in there. Really fun reads. All around great work. Can't wait to see more from these.
I will echo that I also want to see the full Top 40
Aleela and her art and Stellan and the sword both sound super interesting with a lot of creative directions they could take. Good job everyone!
hell yeah these are all so good!
I want to read the Y. Lu book. Really cool concept.
Very cool! Great pitches all around, stoked to see what unfolds. I'd definitely check out every one of these stories.
GREAT ideas in here. Beebe and Ess in particular have my full attention!
Fantastic job everyone! I can definitely see why I didn’t make the cut. Lots of work to do catch up with the work you all are doing. Well done!!
Can we get links for these folks? Great stuff!
