Page 2, Panel 3 the balloons seem to be incorrect. The first balloon sounds like Taxe's dialog, so it should have a tail going to him. Then the other two balloons sound like The Highmaster's response to Taxe's complaints, so they need a connector and an off-panel radio balloon tail.
This line, "...even here at the peak of man’s reach, his depths pull him backward." Take your dagger back! Also signing a letter with, "you win some," is too good. Beautiful flow to the artwork as well (obviously). This short piece is so clear and succinct in what it's doing.
Interesting. So the corporations acquired the experiment, which probably had some magical component to it, which was why it couldn't be replicated. Also, is the bureaucratic meddling piece meta? You decide.
