“Boots, or no boots?”
Whoa, people digs boots. The big question is Uggs, Timberlands or Doc Martens?
Boots - always!
I like the no boots look more but if he’s the head of an adventuring family…I’ve got to go with boots. You can’t go adventuring in socks or sandals.

I totally agree with two versions and as a life long Timberland wearer, I can't recommend anything but for adventures. For more casual wear may I suggest a nice pair of Clarks Wallabees?
