Hope you’re all enjoying the holidays. Around here, we’re still recovering from the success of 3W/3M [ONE] Kickstarter (closed now, but you can STILL do a late pledge, if you missed it!).
But we’re also hard at work prepping all the comics we announced this fall (and there are a lot of them). So we thought today during this quiet stretch that we’d go over the upcoming schedule a bit and pull back the curtain on what we’ll be revealing soon.
Right now, the plan is for the first comics to start in January, beginning with the return of ACADEMY on Sundays, with art as always by the great Steve Epting. Here’s a look at that one to tide you over til then:
Following that will be the launch of its sister serial, INSTITUTE, with art by the phenomenal team of Phil Hester and Jordie Bellaire, which will release on Saturdays. Take a look:
But the weekend serials aren’t all that’s coming your way in January. Late in the month, we’ll release the opening chapters of HYATT’S HOLD, our new free-to-read prequel series, with art by the amazing duo of Stephen Green and Dave Stewart. Here’s a glimpse of that:
That’s not all that’s coming your way in January, though. We also have the first story of LEGENDS Volume two ready to go- BLOOD RED FALLING SKIES by the incredible THAT TEXAS BLOOD team of Chris Condon and Jake Phillips. We know a lot of you are very excited about this one:
So yes, it’s going to be a VERY exciting opening month to 2025. And that’s just the start! We’re also hoping to release the alpha build of the 3W/3M Mobile App to members of THE CIRCLE to coincide with these releases.
In the meantime, we’ve still got more to announce. We haven’t told you about the jaw-dropping slate of artists who will be contributing pages to the 96-page [ARRIVALS] book that’s part of 3W/3M [ONE]. And we haven’t revealed the other fantastic teams contributing to [LEGENDS] Volume Two. So keep an eye on both those fronts. And there’s even more stuff we haven’t even told you about yet…
It’s amazing to be at this point, where we go into what promises to be our biggest year yet. And this is all possible due to the support you’ve given us these last few months- so thank you! The best is yet to come.
CAN. NOT. WAIT! Woo-hoo!
Greetings! Wow! Nearing completion of the Maps source book, I had a couple thoughts I wanted to share.
For those of us who are aging, is there any way possible to increase the font size? I can tell you it would be greatly appreciated!
Along similar lines, at some point during the forthcoming apps testing, is there a way to add a lens/camera type feature where we could hover over anything printed in 3w3m linguistics and it would give us an instant translation? I think that would be particularly badass!
Congrats on achieving all that has happened thus far. Looking forward to the future!
Also, let's get the team out to a couple conventions, yeah? I'm in the midwest so c2e2 doesn't look like it's going to happen in 2025 but how about 2026? Thanks again!
