[WELCOME] Vanesa R. Del Rey, Andy Kuhn, and Nimit Malavia
Meet the newest artists for our remaining [SYSTEMS] stories.
As we prepare an all-new [SYSTEMS] story coming to you on Tuesday, we wanted to take a moment to announce the next wave of amazing artists who will be helping to launch this first stage of 3W/3M over the finish line.
Remember all of these stories will be debuting here exclusively for subscribers, and then printed in gloriously designed hardcover and softcover editions, available FREE (minus shipping) for FOUNDING and ANNUAL members. Details here.
First to the stage is Vanesa Del Rey whose visual artistry has taken comics by storm over the past few years with notable work on REDLANDS, HIT, BLACK WIDOW and THE EMPTY MAN.
She’s joining us on a devastating [SYSTEMS] Magic story with the working title “Birth.”
Andy Kuhn is an industry veteran with a resume you’d expect from someone whose work has touched so many great comics like FIREBREATHER, NINJA TURTLES, and of course… FRANKENSTEIN OF MARS which needs to be a movie, like, next week!
Andy is focusing on a violently thought-provoking [SYSTEMS] Culture story that we can’t wait for you to see.
And rounding our new additions is a name that may be new to some of you, but someone whose work you will never forget.
NIMIT MALAVIA has blown people away with illustration work for journals such as THE WALRUS and an amazing variant cover for Image’s HAHA #1 that we can’t get out of our heads! (He’s also a storyboard artist for the Umbrella Academy tv series.)
He will be bringing his very special talent and imagination to a [SYSTEMS] Religion story that will define a pantheon of gods.
And that’s the last of the incredible artists who have joined us for our [SYSTEMS] graphic novel sourcebook. The entire 3W/3M team is honored to have such an amazing crew of creators lending their talents to our foundation.
We’ll see you next week with 3Q3A, a PROCESS update, more news…and most importantly… all-new comics.
Here’s a taste:
So selfishly excited for Vanesa Del Rey, one of my favorite artists, to take on the magic stuff.
Wow! Thanks for the good news. What a diverse group of styles, I can't wait to see their takes on 3W3M's designs. Also I have to say I had never seen Nimit Malavia's work before now and am blown away! Just fantastic, cannot stop going back and staring.
