The Thirteen Questions
An update on our Founders Weekend.
This weekend, as promised, we sent our Founder Level supporters an email. The first half of it dealt with collecting their shipping details for physically shipped rewards- the signed, limited edition collector cards, prints, and ashcans.
But the second part bears a little more discussion with the broader group.
The Thirteen Questions is our first bit of interactivity; part choose-your-own-adventure, part personality quiz, part puzzle. The broad, introductory nature of it required a simple frame, but future iterations will grow in complexity and scale, while also becoming more individually tailored and bespoke. It’ll be cool.
The idea behind all of this is to really play with the new canvas we have here, mixing different kinds of storytelling methods and mediums together to create something wholly unique. We’re going to have more details to share about all that in a big January announcement— but The Thirteen Questions is your chance to get in on the ground floor of that. The response to it so far has been incredible, so thank you for that.
We’ve gotten some questions from people who aren’t Founders, wondering if they’ve missed the boat here, and short answer is: NO. We’re going to re-send that email to new founders regularly in the near-term, so there is still time to jump in.
Upgrading to Founder is easy: In your Substack Dashboard, click the My Account drop down > select 3W/3M > under plan, click change > then upgrade to the Founder’s tier.
A couple more quick things on this front:
Some founders have asked if you can go through The Thirteen Questions multiple times. The answer is yes! But keep in mind, soon your path will continue, and at that point, your most recent set of answers will determine which way you go.
Also, if you’re a current Founder and you didn’t get the email, drop us a line at firstname.lastname@example.org. We’ve already gotten a few of these, and will responding this week. If there’s been a mixup, we’ll get you in asap.
Okay, the rest of this week, comics. We’ve got a subscriber exclusive comic just about ready to show you, and we’ve also got the full color version of DUELS I to send your way. Oh, and some of you have been asking for a Panels/CBZ version of FABLE, so we’re going to get that over to you, as well. Good stuff.
