In January, we announced [THE COMPETITION], our open scriptwriting tryouts, exclusively for our 3W/3M paid subscribers. Now, after receiving hundreds of entries, we’re back today to announce our first round winners, who will be invited to submit outlines based on their pitches. Here’s Jonathan with the big news…

Congratulations are well-deserved here as the competition was pretty intense.

You might notice this is one over the expected ten, but we had a very high hit rate (over 40 submissions made the preliminary cut) which, I suppose, isn’t surprising considering the volume of submissions that were submitted.

On Thursday I’m going to post the submissions with my notes (there won’t be many at this stage), and then you guys can get started on your outlines.
