The sovereign currency across all worlds is the KHOIN.Â
A single Khoin represents .00007134 decaneai of Khor.Â
To prevent unnecessary wastage of Khor, the representative value of Khoin is fixed. However, its relationship to the economy is not.Â
Every legal transaction of Khoin is run through HARMONIO, The Lab’s evolved algorithm that measures a transaction’s contribution, direct or indirect, to the higher path. The further from the path a transaction is, the greater the cost in Khoin. Â
Example 1:Â
After a major breakthrough on his linguistics exploratory, Poja decides to visit his local tavern and enjoy a celebratory libation. HARMONIO determines Poja would indeed benefit from the positive reinforcement of said libation, which may encourage further progress on his work, and assesses the cost of the transaction to be four Khoin.Â
Example 2:
When Poja elects to order a second round, HARMONIO determines that the long-term incremental harm to his physical health, and in the short term, his genetic predisposition to hangover, which would delay his next day’s contribution to the work, is considerable and sets the price of that libation at seven Khoin.Â
Poja elects to return home instead.Â
A system so rigidly connected to conceptions of merit will, necessarily, inspire alternative means of commerce.
Went out for a few bevys with the boys and HARMONIO bankrupt us
This is rife with possibilities, and I can’t wait to hear more!
