What you can look forward to

First off, hope you all had a great holiday. It’s always a great thing to get that time to spend with the people you love, taking stock of the year and making plans for what’s next.

We also wanted to offer a warm welcome to all the new folks who joined us over the holiday break; we saw a nice wave of new signups and gift subscriptions throughout that stretch.

And because we got such an incredible response to the holiday offer, we’re going to extend it just a few more days.

In addition to that, several of you lovely people donated subscriptions, which is an incredible gesture on your part. Like we said before, some of the holiday was spent making plans. We’ve been hinting at it for a while, but this is going to be a big month around here. Here’s a little of what you can expect in the upcoming weeks.

• Jeremy Haun is wrapping up his story, THE LAB, which we hope to present to you very soon.

• Paid subscriber-only, full color versions of DUELS II and MINING are on the way.

• We’re just about to set to announce the next few artists we’re working on stories with, and you’re gonna love them all.

[SYSTEMS]

• We’re just putting the finishing touches on everything ECONOMICS related. But we’ve had a few new ideas there and we wanted to run them by a special guest expert. More on that shortly.

• Once that’s done, it’s time to dive into RELIGION with Al Ewing.

[FOUNDERS]

• We’re hard at work on the next interactive. The incredible response to the first one caused us to grow our ambitions here.

• For people who missed the first round of The Thirteen Question, that re-send is going out tomorrow. So if you don’t have it by Wednesday, send us a note.

Beyond all that, we’re putting dates on the calendar for the new Live-Draw and [WORLDS WORTH WATCHING].

It’s all leading up to a major announcement here at the end of the month, when we reveal the next phase of this thing and show you what we’ve been building for you. And for all of you who have been asking about those shipped rewards, the First 500, etc., this’ll be something you don’t want to miss.
