[INVITATION] ANNIHILATION
It’s been a minute since we did one of these, should be fun.
For those of you who have joined since then, the idea is simple: we pick a movie that we think is a great example of world building and watch it together at an appointed time, with you. We usually have some special guests pop by, we make some jokes, and share some trivia.
This time the film is Alex Garland’s remarkable adaptation of Jeff VanderMeer’s ANNIHILATION. If you’ve never seen this one, you’re in for a treat.
WHEN: Saturday, MARCH 12. Starting the film at 3pm EASTERN / 12pm PACIFIC promptly.
HOW IT WORKS: We’ll send a community thread out shortly before start time. We’ll be posting in the comments there as we watch. You’re encouraged to do the same.
