Print Reveal: THE GREAT BIBLIOTEKA by Mike del Mundo
Unveiling the latest image from the Year 2 Deluxe Print Set by Mike del Mundo.
During [REWARDS] DAYS we told you all about the Deluxe Print Set from Mike del Mundo & Mike Huddleston.
Today, we’re thrilled to unveil the third print from the set, the latest from Mike del Mundo: THE GREAT BIBLIOTEKA.
Let’s have a look, shall we?

Located on Ordo, The Great Biblioteka is the largest depository of information in the solsistemo. A city unto itself, it is required that every book that sees print submit at least one copy to its archives (this was at one time voluntary). As the age continued, space constraints meant the books began to be used as the fundamental building blocks of the city itself, with great towers of them stretching high into sky and filling every nook and cranny in between. To navigate this unusual terrain and specific texts, researchers and visitors employ the use of Crawlers, robots trained to catalog all volumes inside the city’s borders- however, given the enormity of what’s contained, this method remains imperfect.
Underneath the city, ever-growing, is the Cifereca Arkivo, the digital archive that contains most newer works, and where efforts to digitize that which came before carries on in earnest, under the watchful eye of the Menso Masinos.
To be invited to The Great Biblioteka is considered the highest academic honor, but it is not without controversy. As more and more tomes within the city are deemed heretical by Judges, pressure continues to mount for a full-scale purge of offending texts.
Who wouldn’t want to be there and smell the dusty parchment?
A reminder that members of THE CIRCLE, our premium subscription tier, will get all SIX of these prints, each signed by its respective artist. Annual Subscribers will receive TWO of the prints chosen at random, though it’ll always be one from del Mundo and one from Huddleston. (NOTE: Prints for Annual Subscribers will not be signed.)
We’ll be sharing one more print from del Mundo and two more from Huddleston very soon. They’re going to blow your minds, especially when you see them in their full 11” x 17” glory.
Very, very cool MDM! It’s starting to feel like the Del Mundo style for 3UP 3DOWN has been established! The lines on this one are incredible! I can wait to have this on my wall!
Strong “The Second Renaissance” vibes from the Animatrix. Amazing work.
