Okay. Here for you to enjoy, our first story built off our [SYSTEMS] ECONOMICS talks, DUELS I.
A quick note before we get into it: This version of the comic is being made available to everyone FREE, and we’ll be publishing the full-color version behind the paywall for our premium subscribers in the near-future.
We’re trying it like this because we want to find a way to make the comics we do here as broadly accessible as possible and reach the largest audience we can; that’s one of the most exciting things about the potential for this model. Curious if this is just an introduction to the Royal duel system, or if whatever he created will become integral to the bigger story, since he sees it everywhere.

This might just be me, but it feels like if actual story is going to make it to the public for free, that shouldn’t happen until after it is offered to subscribers for x amount of time.
Even if it is the B&W, subscribers should be first to experience.
Then when a color version is available, use the B&W as free content to entice others to subscribe for premium content available at that time.
