A Big Day For Us...
FOUNDATIONS Dark Horse Edition + Mythic Open Beta
When we launched 3 Worlds / 3 Moons, we did so with a pretty ambitious vision: to not just build a new universe of stories from the ground up, but to pull back the curtain and do it in front of and in collaboration with our audience. To make the work explicitly for them and deliver it directly, and form a community around it.
Almost 5 years later to the day, the whole project has succeeded beyond our wildest dreams, and lasted longer than any of us likely would’ve predicted back then. We’ve released thousands of pages of comics and lore, shipped multiple [REWARDS] packages full of beautifully designed and printed books (with another on the way shortly), and held countless community events both digitally and in person.
But we always knew at some point we’d want to take this work and introduce to the larger comics audience; and today that happened with the release of FOUNDATIONS in comics shops everywhere, via our previously announced partnership with Dark Horse Entertainment. We’re obviously excited to welcome these new readers to what we’re doing here, as well, so to that end, we’ve got another announcement to make…
For a while now, our paid subscribers have gotten access to the closed beta of Mythic, our own new digital home offering a fully featured, bespoke reading experience, a customizable personal library, and much more. We’re incredibly proud of the progress made on the new platform and think it offers a best in class offering in the digital comics space. Now, today, we’re proud to announce MYTHIC is entering open beta.
What does that mean, exactly? Well, for one thing, it means you can directly subscribe there. And while we’re just testing this new feature out (so bear with us if we encounter bugs), subscribing there should also offer you access on Substack (where we will also continue to post everything simultaneously).
To celebrate this, and, for a limited time, we’re offering a 90-Day Free Trial to Mythic, the new digital home of 3W/3M (new subscribers only, available only via the new site).
Not only that, but in the back of the Dark Horse edition of FOUNDATIONS, we included a QR code linking to this offer. If that’s what brought you here- greetings! We’re thrilled to have you. Take a look around, you’ll find lots of comics to enjoy, with much more on the way. Over the next week we’ll be doing some special ‘best of’ posts to help get you caught up on this journey.
And to our existing subscribers: as we said when the Dark Horse partnership was announced, we consider this to be additive and expansionary to what we’re doing. This site will always be our primary focus, and will remain the first home for everything we do. While we’re looking forward to the opportunities to grow that are ahead, our commitment remains to the community here.
The back half of this year should be amazing. There are so many cool things coming, so much we’ve been working on behind the scenes we can’t wait to share. Longtime subscribers know the process can take time, often more than we’d like, but work like this, we hope, is worth it.

Is Mythic going to be a seperate subscription service from the Circle/Founders subscription?
