A question we’ve gotten a lot recently is what will be happening to our Founders tier in Year Two. Today, we’ve got some news on that front, as we say goodbye to the Founders tier…

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you are a current or just renewed Founder, you don’t need to do anything, you’re already enrolled in THE CIRCLE.

Some of this was simply about changing the name- Founders was confusing to a lot of first day annual and monthly subscribers, especially given our First 500/250/100 rewards in Year One; and we wanted a name that was unique to us and reflective of what we’re doing here.

But more than that, THE CIRCLE represents an acceleration of our offerings- as we told you last week, we’re planning to go bigger with everything in Year Two: more comics, more rewards, more events- and there will be no better place to experience these things than inside THE CIRCLE. As a member of THE CIRCLE, you’ll receive a metal membership card (pictured above)- similar to the one you got as a founder last year, but this time with a new symbol, a gold foil treatment, and a magnetic stripe containing your current membership status (to help us unlock benefits and discounts for you at live, in-person events).

But beyond that, of course, you’ll be receiving a new slate of rewards- and this week we’ll start pulling the curtain back on those.
