It’s been an extremely exciting week for the 3W/3M [ONE] Kickstarter- we announced and promptly SOLD OUT of a whole slew of original art commission tiers from Mike, Mike, and Jonathan. We were blown away by the response to those, to say the least.

So due to such overwhelming demand, today we’re releasing another, even more ambitious slate of premium tiers, all centered around one idea…

The chance to be a character within the 3W/3M Universe.

This is something we’ve been asked about ever since we first launched this project, and the Kickstarter seems like the perfect place to offer it. You’ll be immortalized on the page and forever ensconced in 3W/3M lore, sometimes with profound potential implications down the road. This is a big one.

There will be 3 tiers offered- please note each requires you to send us photo reference of you (or your pet- see below) and sign a release/waiver to use your likeness (which we’ll send out as part of your backer survey).

Get Drawn in an Upcoming 3W/3M Story - Limited to 10

Your likeness will appear in the pages of an upcoming 3W/3M story, cameo-style. And these won’t just be background shots- each will have at least one speaking line. Not only that, but you’ll receive a digital print commemorating your appearance in the story!

But maybe instead of you appearing in a story, you’d like a very special friend to appear. If so, check out this next tier…

Your Pet Reimagined as an Academy Mage and Drawn by Mike del Mundo in the pages of [SHIFT] - Limited to 3

That’s right, this is the chance to have your beloved pet get a starring role in the pages of our upcoming OGN, [SHIFT]! Mike del Mundo will personally reimagine your dog, cat, bunny, or what have you as an Academy Mage. And you’ll also receive a digital poster commemorating their appearance- this is the perfect tier for pet lovers everywhere, and we know there are a lot of you!

But there was one more tier we wanted to offer- our biggest, rarest, most ambitious one yet…

Be a Character of Great Consequence, Debuting in [ARRIVALS], Designed by the 3W/3M Team - Limited to 2 (1 Academy, 1 Institute)

You won’t just appear in a story. You’ll work directly with the core 3W/3M Team as we create your bespoke character within the universe- we’ll send you questionnaires with options to select attributes, attitudes, and background details. Mike and Mike will use your likeness as reference for the visual design, with the character debuting in the pages of [ARRIVAl], our upcoming 96-page introductory issue.

But the character won’t just appear in [ARRIVAL]- in those pages, they’ll make a choice of great consequence, one that directly impacts the story going forward.

And we won’t be the ones making that choice- you will be.

It works like this: We’ll present you with the choice, and what you decide will determine what happens in that story.

There are two available tiers for this experiment- one a character that represents The Institute, and another character that represents The Academy. Each will have a distinct choice to make.

Not only that, but both will be accompanied by a hand-drawn, 1 of 1 original full figure illustration from Mike del Mundo or Mike Huddleston for you to treasure.

We’ve teased a lot of story-driven interactivity in the upcoming next phase of this whole endeavor; this is your chance to be at the ground floor of it. And we’re already making plans for these characters to play a major role in what’s to come.
