3W/3M [ONE] x KICKSTARTER - NEW SOFTCOVER TIERS ADDED
Comics should be for everyone.
Over the weekend, it was very exciting to see us hit our funding goal for the 3W/3M [ONE] Kickstarter, to say the least. We’ve never done one of these before, and we had no idea what to expect, so for the team this has been a fantastically rewarding experience so far. If you haven’t already, please consider backing us now!
But there’s one piece of feedback we’ve gotten that we take very seriously. We’ve heard from people who’d like to participate in the Kickstarter, but the price point is too high for them right now.
There’s no getting around the fact that producing comics at this quality level at this scale is expensive. We committed to the books we make being beautiful objects, and when you print like that in limited quantities, it costs a premium.
That said, we certainly understand these are trying times for a lot of folks- and the whole point of the Kickstarter was to broaden the tent and bring more people in. We want our comics to be accessible for everyone, that’s why we do things like serializing THE VALLARS in a free to read format. We don’t want anyone to feel like they can’t be a part of this.
So with that in mind, today we’re adding a number of softcover tiers to the Kickstarter to create a more affordable option for people who’d like to back us now.
This starts with 3W/3M [ONE] (which will now have a softcover edition), but also includes all the graphic novel sourcebooks and the [LEGENDS] volumes, as well!
This will also impact [REWARDS] for annual subscribers. Now, next year, you’ll have a choice between the softcover edition of 3W/3M [ONE] or the Prestige Collectors set. That was a nice added bonus since we know some of you would prefer a softcover. (Reminder: Members of THE CIRCLE will get signed deluxe hardcover editions of 3W/3M [ONE] in their year 4 packages).
We also think our annual subscribers will attest to the high production quality of these softcovers so far. Printed on matte paper at 8.5 x 11 dimensions with emboss/deboss treatments and designed by Sasha E Head, these are stunning books.
(And figured these tiers might be attractive to members of THE CIRCLE, too- maybe you’d like some softcover editions for casual reading in addition to your hardcover shelf volumes.)

And I'm sorry if THIS has been answered somewhere else, actually I know it has but I'm having trouble with some brain fog, sorry, other than the softcover tier you just announced, those SCs are really nice too I've bought some to give away as gifts, highly recommended, is there anything else Circle members can do to support?
I just wanted to say that I really like the idea of doing a Kickstarter. It's a great push for 3W/3M. Let's be realistic, there are some people who will just never get down on Substack. I can't hold that against them and we shouldn't keep them from enjoying the universe just because they don't want to use the platform. Few things are more fun than talking comics with people, especially people you've never even met before. How ever we get these good works to those people, I'm for it.
Sorry if I misunderstand this, but is the softcover copy of One the only thing that The Circle members aren't already getting?
