3W/3M App Launches Closed Beta for ALL Paid Subscribers
And a look at what's ahead.
Last year, we made one of our most exciting announcements to date: the debut of the 3W/3M App for mobile devices and tablets, a reading and community experience custom-built to our needs, and a platform we’ll grow from in the future.
Then, earlier this year we made the alpha build of the app available to members of THE CIRCLE. The response was fantastic, and the app has performed well with that user base.
Which is why today we’re launching our closed beta phase, and are making the app available to ALL our paid subscribers, annual and monthly (we’re also making it available to all our Kickstarter backers).
We’re excited to broaden out the user base and allow more of you to experience the app. Here are the links to download:
One quick note: by far, the biggest issue we have faced so far with the alpha build is login emails not being recognized. We’re manually work off email lists, and unfortunately some inevitably don’t show up. If your email is not recognized, please email us at support at 3w3m dot com.
That said, we are a very small team and we anticipate with all these new users being added at once, there might be some delays in getting back to you- so please, be patient as we make our way through the requests. We’re working on some ways to streamline the login process, but for now, everything is being done by hand.
Now, with that covered, let’s talk about the upcoming stories you’ll be getting in the app (as well as right here):
Next Tuesday will see the launch of DISSENT, our next LEGENDS Volume Two story, written by Torunn Grønbekk with art by Dave Acosta.
But that’s just the start: over the summer we’re planning to release the first 6 parts of HYATT’S HOLD, our new Thursday Free-to-Read comic, as well as the first 12 episodes of our new Saturday serial, INSTITUTE. We’ve just finished the lettering on both and are getting them converted to vertical scroll now.
And in addition to that- we’ve got more LEGENDS stories primed to go on Tuesdays as soon as Dissent concludes— and then there’s THE COMPETITION stories, finally being realized by some terrific up and coming artist. More on that shortly!
So yeah, very exciting stretch of new comics here over the summer. Can’t wait to share the good stuff with you…
Reading on a tablet (Android) in horizontal mode, it doesn't seem like there is a way to view a page full-width, only full page, which means you have to manually zoom in on each page each time, read it while awkwardly scrolling, zoom out, and then flip to the next page. Is there a way to enable full-width reading that I missed, or could that feature be added? BTW this is how the Marvel Unlimited app works. Also, any future plans to add a smart panel reading mode?
