"Fans" vs "readers" certainly have slightly different connotations. And I suppose there could be hate-readers (or just indifferent readers, though, why??) who aren't actually fans. But as for 3W3M, it's easy enough to circumvent that with either or both of "members" or "subscribers." Or I guess you already have us pegged as "Thwimmers." We will have to make sure to stay in thweme in the 3' shallow end of the pool, to make sure there are no drowning incidents. :P
I will admit, I took ONE photo at the Founders meetup, and it was me with Gerry. Getting to discuss the upcoming Iron Man run with him was an entirely unexpected highlight, in addition to the all-around awesomeness of the evening with the Thwim Team. By the way, did anyone (I hope) appreciate the perfection of having a 3W3M meetup at the 33 Taps? And was that the reason for the choice of venue? :D
FLESHWEAVE is indeed an inspiring screen name. Let's combine that with some pizza porn and make some real horrors. There's a place here in Long Beach (CA) called Little Coyote that a lot of people love. I have had their pizza a couple of times and enjoyed it. I think my recent favorite, though, has been from Project Barley, which I think has locations in both Manhattan Beach and Redondo Beach. Really, really good! I will also say, my personal cardinal sin of pizza is NOT ENOUGH SAUCE. If I order extra sauce and still feel like I'm eating cheese on dry bread... it's a bad sign, and I feel like that is a trend at too many places.
Readers sure, but....you can assume anybody who pays for yall is a fan at this point. I can understand readers for like...spiderman....being "readers" as a person may love the character but hate whoever is writing or drawing. But here? I am a solid fan. I'm sure most of us are.
I’m honestly down for pizza in general. Even bad pizza is usually okay. My least favorite pizza is Frank Pepe’s in New Haven, CT. It always makes the top of the best of lists, but to my mind is too thin and too greasy. It’s pizza, so it’s still edible, but imo it doesn’t deserve it’s reputation. There used to be a pizza place in Orlando area called Tony’s (I think, it’s been well over 20 years ago at this point) that was incredible, but I don’t currently have a pizza Mecca.
My favorite pizza is Pizza Hut’s original pan with pepperoni. It’s not the best tasting pizza but it instantly triggers memories of my childhood with Book It, arcade games, and free X-Men comics & VHS tapes.
When y'all come to Austin (when are y'all coming to Austin?) you need to try DeSano Pizzeria. Yes it's also in Nashville and I guess L.A. amongst other places, but really try the one in Austin... and come to Austin. Runner up - Saccone's but really only the runner up because it's so far north in Austin it's a pain to get to.
Also shouldn't we be referred to as investors? Or maybe collectively "The Board"? You could name yourself Chairman of the Board
Not living around here any more, but when you're in Chicago Spacca Napoli is fuuuucking fabulous for somewhat upscale (the pistachio pizza is the BEST) and the last few times I was there they just gave away cannolis on your way out the door so you're basically profiting. Or just a bit away & a little greasier, Fat Chris's has great detroit style pizza.
Bellucci’s Pizzeria in Astoria, Queens (not Bellucci’s Pizza also in Astoria...it’s a whole thing worth Googling). You guys should hit it up during NYCC.
So I think it is featured in Chef’s Table: Pizza (I haven't finished it so I don't know for sure), but Young Joni in Minneapolis has an incredible Korean BBQ Pizza.
First of all, I don’t read anything. I look at the pictures and eat Pineapple & Pepperoni (Turkey) pizza. Don’t judge me.

Overthinking it, Wacker... but "readers" does have a nice ring to it...

I had a slice of the Dill Pickle Pizza from Slice here in Minneapolis, and it was delicious.

Pepperoni and mushrooms. Simple AF.
Hopefully you guys can make it to DragonCon in Atlanta next year?

Detroit Style is easily the best. Specific shouts to Charles and Reid Pizza shop in Traverse City, Michigan. The worst pizza by far is St Louis Style.

Though I'm from Chicago, I 100% affirm the block on Chicago style. That's not a pizza, it's a loaf.
Goodfellas in Chattanooga TN is great New York style pizza if you ever find yourselves in the south
