We told you we had another big announcement coming this week.

Here at ComicsPro in LA, we’ve just announced a partnership with Dark Horse Entertainment to finally bring 3 Worlds / 3 Moons to the direct market, starting with the release of FOUNDATIONS in July.

Needless to say, we’re very excited about this- it’s been a long time coming. We’re thrilled about the opportunity to reach a whole new audience with what we’ve been building here; this represents a huge part of how we grow and expand from here.

As for what it means for the project and the community here, the answer is simple: only good things. Everything we do will always originate here; much like with Kickstarter, we view this as additive. You can see with the debut of mythicpowered.com and the 3W/3M mobile app (download it now: (IOS / ANDROID)- our commitment to this space is only growing deeper. We’ve got so much amazing stuff coming your way this year, as the things we’ve been building for years now finally come into full view. Your support is what has made all this possible, and with your help, we’re going to do even more going forward.

We always knew bringing these books to retail was a part of that next phase. New Worlds still await- now they’re just even bigger and grander in scale.

Back in late 2024, we debuted the 3W/3M Mobile App (Download it here: (IOS / ANDROID). The idea was to build a custom home for everything we do, with a dedicated reader and library to optimize the entire experience of enjoying comics digitally.

The response from the community here to the app has been incredible. We’ve seen usage steadily increase, gotten terrific feedback, and heard some great suggestions on new features (with more than a few already implemented).

We told you then that was just the beginning, and now we’re ready to unveil the next stage: with the closed beta launch of MythicPowered.com, available on desktop and mobile web, exclusive to 3W/3M paid subscribers.

We think the app is the best way to enjoy 3W/3M, but we also know apps aren’t for everyone. So we worked hard to replicate the entire experience as closely as possible on this new site- whether it’s discovery, reading, or organizing, all the same features are now at your fingertips on any device with an internet connection.

Not only that, but we’ve given everything a stunning UI refresh. We kept everything clean, fast, and function-first, but it’s a sleeker, more modern interface, for sure. This refresh will be coming to the app here this week, too.

Another big advancement- by far the biggest headache we’ve had with the app from day one is just getting people access- new signups essentially had to be added to the list manually, not to mention all the usual problems that come with list-based entry. So we worked with the team at Substack to better recognize your subscription status. It should now be instant and identical! That’s a big breakthrough.

That said, this is a good time to remind everyone- this is still very much in beta. And with all the updating, there will undoubtedly be new bugs and hiccups- we appreciate your patience in advance.

What’s really exciting about today, for us, is as amazing as the app has been, it’s obviously been a walled garden. And while access to comics and other paywalled materials are still subscriber-only there for now, it’s very cool to have something more public facing that people can see for themselves. And in a few months you’ll have the ability to directly subscribe on the new site (or within the app).

And if you prefer getting your 3W/3M content via Substack, don’t worry! We aren’t going anywhere. Posts will still show up in your inbox or the Substack app. This is meant to be an additive experience.

Finally, some of you might be asking- why call it MythicPowered.com? Well, we’ll have more on that later this year. Needless to say we have some very big plans for this new platform. MATIAS BASLA is also a previous contributor to 3W/3M, though this is the first time the core team has gotten to work with him. One of the coolest highlights of this past year for us was the release of SHIFT. Our biggest release to date by many measures, this 64-page Original Graphic Novel, written by Jonathan Hickman with art by Mike del Mundo was a smash hit with the community here and a major turning point in the building of this new universe.

Released in serial form last fall/winter, today we’re excited to release the fully collected edition digitally, exclusively to our paid subscribers. Well, the time has come, and we’re ready to name the first of those 5 artists, and it’s a great one.

Christian Ward is no stranger to 3 Worlds / 3 Moons. He was the artist of TRANSIT, one of the first stories we published here and collected in the [SYSTEMS] Graphic Novel Sourcebook. Christian brought the Vojogonto- our mysterious spacefaring creatures with sprawling cities on their backs- to life in breathtaking fashion there, so it felt only right to invite him back for this story and another interstellar journey with them. We’re so grateful he came on board.
